ANSWERING WHAT IS THE HOLY TRINITY

THE HOLY TRINITY: What does it mean and why is it hard to understand? Even though the words Trinity and Time Domains are not found in the Bible both must be understood.

The Holy Trinity and Trinity Time Domains are strongly alluded to in numerous Bible verses and must be comprehended to logically make sense of either of them. The missing ingredient to more clearly understand these concepts is to understand time as demonstrated in the Bible.

Once biblical time is understood, all Bible verses concerning the Holy Trinity and Trinity Time Domains become much more clear, logical, and reasonable.

On this website, you will discover concise evidence-based answers and new solutions to questions that have baffled scholars and puzzled theologians. We will utilize many Bible verses from the King James Bible and reveal new insights into how the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, which make up the Holy Trinity, can be distinctly separate and yet be one God without being illogical.

Different Names for the Holy Trinity: Please note that The Trinity, The Triune God, and The Godhead are often used interchangeably to describe the more often used term Holy Trinity in the biblical context. This traditional view is often referred to as Trinitarianism. The Holy Trinity has also often been described as a single God in three persons or Three-In-One, but this can lead to more questions than answers. A better description would be to say the Three-Are-One when describing God, which sounds like incorrect grammar, but the meaning is more accurate. More on this later.

Why does understanding the Holy Trinity matter? There is often difficultly in understanding ancient biblical people, places, and events largely because we are separated by vast amounts of time and often lack the cultural understanding to more clearly understand these things, but there is a danger in not trying to understand these things.

The danger in not understanding the Holy Trinity: Many current and past heretical groups often share one thing in common, which is they deny the evidence for the Holy Trinity, which is to say that they deny that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one. They often do this by utilizing newer Hebrew and Greek texts derived from Westcott and Hort who abandoned the Hebrew and Greek texts trusted for over 1,800 years. Heretical groups often use this newer text directly or utilize a Bible created from the UBS/Nestle-Aland textbooks that are based upon the Westcott and Hort text. Search for "Westcott and Hort" online to obtain more important information about that topic.

The Holy Trinity Controversy: There really is not any controversy amongst the vast majority of Christians about the reality of the Holy Trinity, and although a majority view is not considered evidence, in this case it happens to be a reflection of the truth.

Any supposed controversy is only promoted by those who either do not understand the Holy Trinity or those who conform to groups like the Jehovah's Witnesses who abandoned the correct biblical text, who instead used the Westcott and Hort (UBS/Nestle-Aland) text to create a new specialized Bible, which enabled them to justify dropping or changing the biblical text that contradicted their understanding. Their lack of understanding and use of altered text is exemplified in erroneous statements on their official webpage entitled What Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Believe? where they state within item number three that:

“...we have learned from the Bible that Jesus is not Almighty God...”

The above is clearly contradicted and refuted by all the Bibles that use the correct text in Isaiah 9:6, which states:

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

Isaiah 9:6 also directly links the child born (the Son of God) as simultaneously being "The everlasting Father". If this is not enough evidence for you, much more evidence is provided throughout this website as it relates to the Holy Trinity.

Read on to quickly understand how the Holy Trinity is true and the most logical stance.
